Wildfires Coaching & Support Positions Open

Applications for 2021 State 7s and 2022 Wildfire Representative Coaching and Support Staff have been extended via the below link. This link will close on Friday 2nd July 2021 at 5:00PM. Jotform Link

Please note for the Wildfire Representative teams, Applications for Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer and Manager will be taken now but the Head Coach will be the only position not named until after ALL team selections have been chosen early in 2022.

  • U13 girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U13 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U15 girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U15 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U17 girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U17 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager

2022 Wildfires Representative Teams

  • U12s – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U13 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U14 Girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U14s Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U15 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U16 Girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U16 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U18 Girls – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager
  • U18 Boys – Head Coach, Asst Coach, Trainer, Manager

Applications for positions are to be received by the HJRU on the prescribed form as distributed by the Office of the HJRU. All applicants must be suitably qualified. Applications will not be considered unless the applicants hold the following qualifications: – Coaches must have Smart Rugby and Level 1 Coaching qualification or higher – Assistant Coach must have Smart Rugby – Managers must have Smart Rugby – Trainers must have a current First Aid Certificate or be a qualified Level 1 Sports Trainer – ALL Team Staff must have completed and passed a working with children check.

In 2022 all ages will have a Head Coach, Assistant coach, Trainer and Manager only.

The HJRU Executive would also like to advise that team selection dates will be set to take place later this year.

Player selection nominations will open up later this year. I will send an email to all clubs and also post on Facebook to notify everyone when this occurs.
